I can almost taste it!
I finished sewing the seams last night and weaving in the ends tonight, so it got a quick wash and is drying right now. All that has to be done is have the zipper sewn in. Hopefully, that will happen before 2008.
I hope everyone had a great Christmas. Mr. Penney and I had a good one. Santa Penney was very good to me, as he is throughout the year. I will show you some of what he gave me in later entries; but now, I am taking a moment to enjoy not working on a sweater.
That’s quite a fantabulous piece of work you’ve got there. I bet Mr. Penney’s gonna be over the moon about it.
I actually wear it when he’s not looking. Can’t wait!
Wow, it’s beautiful! I love the color choices.
Good luck with the zipper – I made my husband a sweater during the Knitting Olympics, and it still has no zipper…
Oh that came out great! You did a fantastic job. I’d love to hear your thoughts on adding a zipper. If there’s anything that intimidates me about sweater knitting, it’s adding a zipper.
Happy New Year to you, Mr. Penny, and Bogey!
Mr. Penney’s sweater is gorgeous!!! You are in the home stretch. I look forward to seeing what Santa Penney brought you and Bogey. I have started a Snoopy Sweater for my nephew so I feel your sweater pain.
