Crappy photography, no? I do love the sock, though I am still not sure if I picked the right stitch pattern for the colorway (Winter Twilight). It is a fun knit, and that is what matters the most to me right now.<\/p>\n<p>And do I like the yarn?<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/www.textillian.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2010\/03\/dragonfly-hyp.jpg\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"alignnone size-thumbnail wp-image-870\" title=\"dragonfly-hyp\" src=\"https:\/\/www.textillian.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2010\/03\/dragonfly-hyp-150x150.jpg\" alt=\"\" width=\"150\" height=\"150\" \/><\/a><\/p>\n<p>Yes. Actually, only the top three are Naiad from <a href=\"http:\/\/www.etsy.com\/shop\/dragonflyfiberdesign\" target=\"_blank\">Dragonfly Fibers<\/a>\u00a0(in Oriole-Dubious, Canyon Flower, and Rocky Top). The bottom two are Djinni, also from Dragonfly Fibers (in Winter Twilight, again, and Reluctant Dragon). I got them at the Homespun Yarn Party this past Sunday. It was so close to my house\u00a0that it is hard to stay away. I also got these.<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/www.textillian.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2010\/03\/other-hyp.jpg\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"alignnone size-thumbnail wp-image-871\" title=\"other-hyp\" src=\"https:\/\/www.textillian.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2010\/03\/other-hyp-150x150.jpg\" alt=\"\" width=\"150\" height=\"150\" \/><\/a><\/p>\n<p>The roving is merino and silk from <a href=\"http:\/\/www.neighborhoodfiberco.com\/\" target=\"_blank\">Neighborhood Fiber<\/a>\u00a0(colorway unknown), as is the blue merino\/cashmere\/nylon sock yarn next to it (in Palisades). The other yarn in the photo is Bugga from <a href=\"http:\/\/www.sanguinegryphon.com\/\" target=\"_blank\">Sanguine Gryphon<\/a>\u00a0(in Marpesia Marcella).<\/p>\n<p>Now, you may be wondering where the yarn from <a href=\"http:\/\/www.knitswithsticks.com\" target=\"_blank\">Sheila <\/a>is. Well, I have it on order, and you probably won&#8217;t be seeing it here for a while, as it is going to be part of a gift for someone who may actually visit this site on occasion.
