Hmmm, I guess you are waiting for something, aren’t you? Sorry for the delay. A bit about that a little later on, but first, the names of the winners in the raffle.<\/p>\n

As for the delay, well there are two things going on right now: a lot of overtime at work and yardwork. As some of you know, I am a software engineer by profession. Spending 10 to 12 hours a day staring at computer screens at work does not make me want to hop on the computer again once I get home. Hop into bed? Yes. Hop on the computer? No. So that has kind of put a crimp in my having time to update my blog, as well as access and comment on your blogs. I will catch up. I promise.<\/p>\n

The yardwork? Well….<\/p>\n

\"Backyard<\/a>\u00a0\"Backyard<\/a><\/p>\n

Now, from looking at these pictures, you may find it hard to believe that this is the accumulation of leaves we have in our backyard in less than 24 hours. But it is. Mr. Penney and I spent quite a bit a time on Saturday getting the leaves away from the house and making everything nice and clean, to wake up to this. It is not a surprise to us, just a big time sink. All of the time saved the rest of the year by having\u00a0a wooded lot is spent during this time of year. Sure you don’t want any leaves, Opal<\/a>?<\/p>\n

As you can see from Roseann’s prize, I am still doing some weaving. I am also doing some knitting.<\/p>\n

\"Basketweave<\/a><\/p>\n

The first of the Basket Weave Rib socks are done, and the second one is well under way.<\/p>\n

\"Tannenbaum<\/a><\/p>\n

And I am still working on the Tannenbaum sock. Yes, it is my own design. I will write something up about it once I get this first sock finished.<\/p>\n

I am also gathering together goodies for the Winter Wonderland Swap <\/a>\u00a0(Ravelry link) organized by Pheelya<\/a>. My swap partner is Kati<\/a>. She likes my Pride socks. Bonus!<\/p>\n

Hope to catch up with you all again this month, but if you don’t hear from me again until December, don’t be concerned. I am still around.<\/p>\n
