Yep, it is the scale’s fault. Anyway, I am leaving them that way, because it is not like I wear these socks with shorts. Only those that read this blog will know of my shameful secret. Oh, and that cuffs of my socks are not the same length.

Oddly enough, in wearing them yesterday, I could tell the difference between the socks. The shorter cuff is just not a natural length for me, I guess because of being use to wearing commercially made socks.

In any case, onto the next pair of socks:

This pair of socks is for my mother as part of her Mother’s Day gift. (My parents don’t have internet access, so don’t go spilling the beans to them!) The yarn is from Sheila at Wullenstudio and is her Lipstick on Your Collar colorway. I got it at the Cloverhill booth at MSWF. (BTW, I am well aware that I am not going to get this done by Sunday. Fortunately, my family is well aware of the routine when it comes to getting handmade gifts from me.)

I also have some sewing to do:

Friends of mine from college just had another daughter. I knitted them a sweater for their previous bundle of joy, so I thought this one could us a sundress or two. (Not all of the fabrics you see here are for the new one. Some are for stash, in case I get surprised with a birth announcement like this again.) I am going to be using the patterns out of Kwik Sew’s Sewing for Baby, which, for the price of it, seems to give a lot of patterns and instructions on how to change the patterns around for different looks.
