Reference<\/a><\/p>\n

Well, it was a year ago today that I made my first post, after converting my old website<\/a> over to a blog. To celebrate, just some random things.<\/p>\n

First, thanks to all of you who comment and all of you who lurk. A special shout out to someone who has commented and linked to my blog more than anyone else: Roseann<\/a>. I am not sure I would have “met” half of you out there if it wasn’t for her.<\/p>\n

Also, thank you to Mr. Penney, who puts up with all of this. Not that he wasn’t warned when we first met, but sometimes you really have to live with someone to get the full breadth of the insanity.<\/p>\n

Strangely, the thing that brings most Googlers to this site? Living room curtains<\/a>. Seriously. Followed not too far behind by buffalo plaid<\/a>. With all of the knitting that happens on blog?<\/p>\n

Which is another thing? I never would have guessed a year ago that there would be so much knitting on this blog. Baby sweaters, socks, sweaters<\/a>. I have some theories on why that has happened, but I will get into that another time.<\/p>\n

Oh, and does anyone check out the songs that I use for titles? Granted, I really stretch it sometimes, which is part of the reason why I am not so sure how long that means of titling will last.<\/p>\n

And, I just got an award<\/a>! Opal <\/a>had me as an honorable mention before, but now I actually have it! It kind of came out of left field for me, as I didn’t even know Bonnie read my blog. Which is another great thing. People that I never would have thought I would come in contact with actually think what I have to say is sometimes of interest. How great is that!<\/p>\n
